Week 2

Composition Major Study Suggested works for annual folio

Bachelor of Music
Year 1
must cover instrumental group, keyboard and voice
a recording of at least one work must be submitted in the folio

Semester I
single line/unison piece, 2-3 minutes duration
single line/unison piece, 5 minutes duration
piece for 2 lines, 5 minutes duration
piece for 2 lines, 10 minutes duration
work of student choice
Semester II
piece for 2 lines, 5 minutes duration
piece for 3-5 lines, 10 minutes duration
piece for 5-7 lines, 5 minutes duration
work of student choice

Year 2
must cover untuned percussion and keyboard
a recording of at least one work must be submitted in the folio
Semester III
piece for 3-5 lines, 5 minutes duration
piece for 5-7 lines, 10 minutes duration
piece for 7-13 lines, 5 minutes duration

Semester IV
